Sakinah Audio (سكينة) · Last updated: October 29, 2026
In short
Sakinah Audio processes audio entirely on your device. Audio is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. There are no servers that receive your audio, no analytics, no tracking and no ads. The core feature needs no account.
Browser extension (Chrome and Firefox)
- The audio of the videos you play is processed only inside your browser.
- The extension stores only your settings (on/off, mode, site list, language) in your browser's local extension storage. They are deleted when you remove the extension.
- Site access is limited to the sites listed on the store page and to sites you add yourself.
- The extension does not collect any browsing data or personal data.
Android app
- With your permission (the system asks when you start), the app captures other apps' audio, processes it on the phone and plays the cleaned version. This audio is never saved or sent.
- Microphone: used for a few seconds only during the sound check, to confirm that the original sound is silenced on your phone. Only the sound level is measured; nothing is recorded or sent.
- Floating volume button: shown over other apps only if you turn it on.
- Settings and the sound-check result are stored on the phone only.
No recording
Sakinah Audio is not made for listening to songs or extracting voices from them. Our apps block other apps from recording or capturing the cleaned audio wherever the operating system allows it.

This site has no trackers and no cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to protect the service.
Accounts in the future
If we launch a paid plan (Plus) that needs an account, we will update this page before then and explain what data it needs. The core feature will stay account-free.
